Southwest Pond Cabins is located in the Community of Griquet which is located at the tip of the Great Northern Peninsula, Newfoundland. Located 10 kilometres away is Norstead and L’Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site, the first and only authenticated European settlement in North America. Located 24 kilometres away is St. Anthony,the largest town on the Northern Peninsula. This is the home of the Grenfell Mission, established by the International Grenfell Association to provide medical services to the scattered and isolated population of northern Newfoundland and Labrador. Southwest Pond Cabins are also conveniently located just 5 minutes away from local restaurants and craft stores.
